Emily Benz
Emily grew up exploring the front range in Colorado on her family's horse ranch. After nearly a decade teaching biology and environmental science in downtown Chicago she has found her way to the Driftless area where the gorgeous hills and unique topography have captured her heart. She runs a small community-centered business serving up group yoga instruction and community gatherings, teaches seasonal outdoor education programming, and is raising two kids on an old dairy farm where they get to explore the slightly-lower elevations of Sauk County.
Emily is a conservation voter because she believes we live in kinship with the other life on this planet and had best leverage our position as humans to do a better job protecting this place.
